            Applications is plain papers are invited for the isolated post of Head Assistant in the Pay Band 2 of Rs 9300 – 34800 + 4400 pm plus other allowances under the Rules.

Specification:

1	Educational Qualification	Graduate from recognized Universities and Working Knowledge of Mizo language upto Middle School level.
2	Desirable	Experience in office Ministerial Service. Free from Intoxicants.
3	Age limit	35 years for general, 40 years for SC/ST/OBC.
4	Nature of appointment / Post	Contract for 2years initially, eligible to be appointed Coterminous with SIRD on satisfactory performance.
5	Place of Work	Kolasib initially, with prospect of working at Durtlang, Aizawl, on occupation of SIRD’s new campus.

             Interested persons may submit their applications with bio-data and contact number to the undersigned latest by 25^th January, 2012. The following documents should be enclosed:

Attested Copies of:- 

i) Certificate and Mark Sheets of HLSC onwards,
ii) Employment Registration Card,

Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. Competitive examination will be held on the following subjects as follow:

PAPER-I (3 hours)

Workshop on NRLM, Dimapur, Nagaland

Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India is going to organise a Workshop on NRLM for the States of Mizoram and Nagaland at Dimapur, Nagaland during the 13th - 14th October, 2011. Top Officials of the Rural Development Department, Mizoram, such as the Secretary, Addl. Secretary, Director, Jt. Director, State Nodal Officer (NRLM), etc. and the Director, SIRD, will participate in the Workshop.

Report on the Workshop may be posted after the team returns to the State.

Enumerators' Manual for Socio-Economic Census 2011 (Mizo Version)

The SIRD, Mizoram has translated the Enumerators' Manual for Socio-Economic and Caste Census, 2011, into Mizo language. The Manual, after approval of the Government, will be printed for use in the census.

The Governing Body, under the chairmanship of Shri K. Riachho IAS, Secretary, RD & Chairman, conducted a walk-in interview for selection of suitable candidate for the post of Assistant Engineer, SIRD, on the 19^th September, 2011, at 11:00 AM.

            The following is the marks scored by the Candidates:
